Dance Artist Tilly Evans-Kreuger in Solo Magic’s recent work in progress, Keeper of Sadness

Supporting creativity, growth and self-expression through art.

Solo Magic is a non-profit arts initiative collaborating with innovative artists to create socially relevant multi-disciplined experiences.

We support multi-faceted works that will provide more exposure to community conversations, open the general public to atypical performances in traditional and non-traditional spaces and forge a renewed awakening of art.

Our projects focus on manifesting the magic created from positive change of individual action.

Keeper of Sadness

a work in progress

With technology as a liberation tool, Keeper of Sadness aims to give voice to the pain that lays dormant in the bellies of so many Black Women ignored throughout history--often self-suffocated as a means of survival--and further divulge the pain Black women have genetically recycled without the ability to purge.

Black Like Me:

An Exploration of the Word Nigger

Black Like Me is a 50-minute performance shared through five sequential narratives in five distinct environments. These environments were created using multimedia: video projections, historical images, animation, and sound designs.

Radical Black Femme Project

The Radical Black Femme Project (RBFP) is a digital and hybrid residency founded and curated by Solo Magic to provide a platform and shelter to build resources and solidarity in a community often pushed aside. RBFP supports creative work in the realm of resisting racism, subverting transphobia, and supporting justice, safety, and equity with an emphasis on counterculture conversations.

RBFP is a residency with a global focus aimed at providing creatives with the ability to incubate in their own process. Creatives are selected through invitation-only submissions curated by Solo Magic.
